Taters takes a deep plunge into its mission with Booker's Bear-ly Legal Rye. Our label pays homage to Knob Creek founder Booker Noe as we imagine him taking the Polar Plunge into the frozen waters.

When our friends at Liquor Locker in Saint Joseph, Michigan extended an invitation to join them in picking their next New Riff bourbon barrel, we couldn't have been more thrilled.

Honoring tradition and authenticity, our Origin Series Wheated Bottled-in-Bond 6-year expression presents the best locally-sourced Kentucky corn and wheat grains. This expression features 20% wheat in the mash bill, creating a modern expression of beautifully balanced bourbon.

Our first Tater Tuesday event was held at the Community Harvest Food Bank in celebration of over $5K raised by Taters in support of the charity.

Enter the next bottle in the long line of mythical creatures in the hunt: Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Warehouse C Bourbon. Announced earlier in May, these Buffalo have allegedly been roaming the wild lately. And while no Buffalo were harmed (i.e. opened) in the filming of this creature, Taters was able to snag a bottle from our friends at Belmont for some Glamour Shots.

Reputation aside, Jack Daniel’s has been expanding their lineup and they offer many expressions crafted to enjoy neat or on the rocks, no Coke required. Today, we are taking a look at Jack Daniel’s Barrel Proof Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey.

The Discovery Series is Bardstown Bourbon Company’s top shelf offering. Each entry into the series consists of a blend of well-aged whiskies sourced from established distilleries. This brand has been getting some serious recognition as their 3rd release landed near or at the top of many ‘Top Bourbons of 2020’ lists.

From the bottle to your glass the nose or the 2021 Taters Four Roses Barrel Proof pick gives off some immediate notes of classic Four Roses “V” yeast strain.

J.W. Rutledge Distillery who is behind the premium bourbon Cream of Kentucky, has released High Plains Rye. The whiskey comes as a blend of five straight rye whiskeys from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and New York.

Marketing gimmick jokes aside, ECBP just might be the last great special bourbon release that remains fairly attainable to the average consumer.
